Ok. i had created the components menu yet. And, i renamed "properties" for my language word (spanish). Then i moved this to the mainmenu but i doesnt make this item index, because i use an article of joomla like default in wich i show mod prop search and last porperties.
After i create this, had created a new item for rent and another for sales. this two last are children of properies.

Until now everything is fine, except for 1 thing...

When i make an search (module) for rent category, and return results of search, in mainmenu, display as current or active the item for sales. And if i make an search for sales too return sales item like active. The same thing happend when use the module last for see any property.

Categories and types created:

for rent:
-appartaments
-houses
for sell:
-appartaments
-houses

The first item created was "for rent" and it is always the active.
How i must create a main menu functional for this modules and manual navigation???
I hope somebody understand.

Now i see that my first category is default "properies" item.

I've the same problem i've repaired the menu, i've rebuilt the menu and nothing to do...

is evreytime the same prolem, it gives me back the itemid of the first menu id for all the menus, why??

How i can do that the first menu sale with itemid =1
give me back only in the properties in sale the itemid =1
and that the menu voice of rent, itemid=2 gives me back the properties of this menu with the right itemid.
this important for the xmap plugin and the breadcumbs!!!
I've tried evreythink but nothing,
if i pubblish the menu without categories specific it gives me back itemid= . it's empty!
i want that the componente change the itemid, now can anybody helps???
