I have PHP script that has been running without a hitch for the last 6 months.

It queries the database, parses the retrieved information, including the first 20 extras, (which are defined and placed in an array at the top) and 10 picture URLs and writes it to local disk as an XML file in the rather strict format required by Kyero, so acceptable to several other portals as well.

Reconfiguration would only require redefining the extras and changing the database access information, assuming the MySql tables haven't been renamed. That would then require the new table names entering as well.

If this is any good to you, let me know and I will upload it or email it.

I am sure someone with more than my basic skills could make it into a bolt-on of some sort.

Thanks for the offer, the xml import detailed here already works fine for me.

What I am interested in is xml import, if anybody has a solution for this please let me know.

I had a portal which ran loosely on drupal, the people who made it for me also built me an import system which imported over 200 xml feeds on a daily basis. The system ignored the agents manually inserted properties and checked the properties previously imported by xml with those in the xml feed only importing those newly added or modified (most import just over write everything). It also picked up and imported the photos. It was great because the agent just inserted the feed in a form in his admin and this was then validated and added to the import list.

I still have the code for the portal and the xml import system, if any body thinks that they could in some way adapt this to work with Joomla and com-property then please let me know.

The portal was called TheBigMover.com if anybody remembers it.
